Oil the blade bar with machine oil after cleaning and before using
the hedge trimmer again.

When cleaning or maintaining the hedge trimmer, first disconnect
from power mains.

Remove dirt from the blade bar with a scrubbing brush or a small
brush. Please note that there is a foam pad in the opening between
the motor housing and the blade bar. Do not remove this foam pad.

Do not clean the housing with sharp detergents or aggressive
chemicals in order not to damage the surfaces. Use only a lightly
moistened cloth for cleaning. Clean the ventilation slots with a soft
brush.

Store the hedge trimmer in a dry, dust-free and frost-protected
place.

When not in use and when storing the hedge trimmer, always slide
the blade bar protection over the blade bar.
