Getting Started

Plug the power cord into an appropriate power supply. The green Power On light will
illuminate. Turn the System On switch to the On position. The control unit will beep. If
the control unit has not been switched on for some time, the alarm may sound to indicate
that the battery is low. In this case, the alarm will continue to sound until the battery has
been charged or replaced with a fully charged battery. See Section 4.5.
The Temperature Warning light should illuminate, indicating the temperature in the
freezer is higher (warmer) than the temperature set on the backup unit.
