Problem solving. Door switch defect / no contact
Question: How do I fix the problem when the Aduro Hybrid app reports "The door is open" and the pellet
function will not turn on?
Reason: When you receive the alarm message "The door is open" and the oven either turns itself off or it
will not turn on, because the door of the combustion chamber is open, it may be due to 2 things:
1) The door sensor/switch is defect. You can check this by holding down your finger for a few seconds.
If the alarm message on the app disappears, the door switch is not defect and works fine.
2) There is a lack of contact between the door hook and the door switch. If there is no touch between
the hook that is located at the bottom of the door to chamber and the switch that is hidden in the
right side of the oven (see pictures below).
The old solution a hook in the corner below
Solution: Adjust the door so that the hook enters and presses the plug of the switch when the door of the
combustion chamber is closed. Alternatively, install a new door hook, a new bracket and a new door switch
with long arm that is attached on the bracket. The new hook takes over the function role of the old door
hook and a new bracket with the new door switch, which will replace the old door contact.
