ADURO Hybrid Technical Maintenance

Technical maintenance of Aduro Hybrid
The technical maintenance must be conducted by a professional. The chimney must
be maintained and swept according to local rules.
The Aduro Hybrid stove must be inspected after one year for cleaning and potential
adjustment. Hereafter, maintenance must be conducted by an Aduro certified
professional every other year or for every 2,000 kg pellets burned.

First year maintenance:

•
Chimney sweeping – this must be conducted by the local and qualified chimney
sweeper. Control the smoke pipes and smoke outlet for any humidity.
•
Control the isolation tiles by taking them off, vacuum and take out the ashes,
clean the burning chamber and metallic baffle plate.
•
Check the burning cave and cast iron grid is sitting properly without leakage,
clean if dirty and make sure air pathways are free.
•
Check that the fan is working properly and clean the rotor blades if necessary.
•
Empty the pellet container and vacuum the bottom of the external auger through
the opening in the pellet container.
•
Take out the motherboard cautiously and clean it carefully if there I dust.
•
Check the door is tight and glass gaskets. Adjust the glass fittings.
•
Vacuum clean the internal auger and remove it. Check that the rubber O ring is
intact.
•
Remove the ceramic igniter and check for ashes in the white cylinder. Clean it if
there are ashes.
•
Check if the stove has any marks and give it some senotherm if necessary, for a
fresh new look.

Control and adjustment:

•
Install the newest software.
•
Check the function of the door switch and the switch for the air damper.
•
Make sure that the grey air damper located in the middle of the stove is pushed
all the way in when burning with pellets and must only be pulled when burning
with wood.
•
Check the door is tight and adjust it if necessary.

Restart of the stove:

•
Fill the augers with pellets until you see visible pellets 1cm below the edge of the
short auger tube at the burning cave.
•
Control that the stove ignites correctly in the 1 attempt.

Technical maintenance after year 1:

Maintenance must be conducted by an Aduro certified professional every other year
or for every 2,000 kg pellets burned.
•
Conduct the same service as written above under First year maintenance and
replace the internal gear motor when you clean the internal auger.
•
Check number of ignitions and change the electrical igniter if more than 3000
ignitions have been made.

Replacement:

•
Dismount the internal auger and gearbox and check for "abnormal" wear.
•
Replace the internal gearmotor and control the O-ring gasket.
