ULI
Standard UL-type delay

devices (Release) upon
ABORT, and stops and
holds at 10 seconds
until release of the
ABORT switch. Upon
release of the ABORT

IRI
IRI-type delay timer that
functions the same as
the UL-type timer with
the exception that the
ABORT will function only
if pressed and held
before second zone
goes into alarm.
Note: Of the modes described above, only ULI and IRI comply with
UL Standard 864.
The abort timer will not operate when set for NO DELAY.
Cross--may be set Y (yes) or N (no). If yes, the start of the timer and
subsequent activation of release circuits will only occur if two or more
devices having the same zone number in their CBE are activated.
Soak--is used to automatically shut off the releasing solenoids several
minutes after the zone turns them on. It may be programmed for zero
(no soak timer), or 10 to 15 minutes. Use in NFPA 16 applications only.
See the Special Zone Change section of the IFC-200 Programming/Status
Change Technical Bulletin for details on programming Cross and Soak.
Refer to the Releasing Applications section of the IFC-200 Applications
Technical Bulletin in this manual for detailed information about releasing
applications.
The IFC-200 reads and displays analog information from its 99 analog
detectors. The LCD displays percent obscuration of light per foot (%/ft).
Alarm levels for the intelligent detectors may be manually set to one of
three within the UL obscuration range, 1.0%, 1.4%, or 3.0%; 1.0% being
the most sensitive and 3.0% the least sensitive.
