Record your new setting on the Hardware and Software
Configuration Form in Appendix C, Customer Communication.

Remember that after you install the NI-488.2M software, you must
use the GPIB Configuration utility to configure your software setting
to match your new hardware settings. Refer to the Configure the
Software (Optional) section in Chapter 3, Software Installation and
Configuration, for information about the GPIB Configuration utility.
As an alternative to DMA transfers, you can use programmed I/O. To use
programmed I/O, you should disable DMA for the PC/104-GPIB by
moving the jumpers as shown in Figure 2-7.
