Scan to Image

You can scan a colour picture into your graphics application for viewing and editing. You can change the
(Scan) configuration. (See Image (example: Microsoft Paint) on page 3-5.)

Load your document.

Press (Scan).

Press a or b to choose Scan to Image.
Press Menu/Set. (For MFC)
Press Set. (For DCP)
d
Press Mono Start or Colour Start.
The machine starts the scanning process.

Scan to OCR

If your document is text, you can have it converted by ScanSoft
then have the result displayed in your word processing application for viewing and editing. You can change
the (Scan) configuration. (See OCR (Word Processing program) on page 3-7.)
