INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

1. Switch the camera off.
2. Disconnect the controller from the camera.
3. Follow the picture below and unscrew the cap covering the battery compartment.
4. Insert three AA LR6 standard batteries in direction showed in the picture and
indicated by the label placed under the controller body.
5. Close the battery compartment.
As soon as the controller receives power from the batteries all eight LEDs will light for
approx. 1 sec. After that the 'fastest speed/variable mode' LED should light. The LED
should go off after a few seconds as the controller is not connected to the camera.
Note! If the LEDs do not light after you close the battery compartment, it means that
either the batteries are already discharged or are not installed correctly. In either case
remove batteries immediately to check if they were inserted correctly. Even though, the
controller has reverse battery protection, leaving the batteries inserted in the wrong
direction for longer periods of time may result in permanent controller damage or
battery leakage.
6. Connect the controller to the camera "CAM REMOTE" plug and press the 'digital'
button – the controller is ready to work.
