Caution! Before beginning the disassembly make sure of the following:
• Negative battery terminal is disconnected.
• Parking brake is ON.
• Gear shifter is set to a lower gear.
Accessing 12V Power
1. Using a panel removal tool, unsnap
panel located beneath radio inside
storage compartment (1, A).
Next, extract two 8mm bolts from
behind panel, securing factory radio to
dash chassis (1, B).
2. Using a panel removal tool, unsnap knee
guard under steering wheel (2).
3. Extract (1) Phillips head screw securing
dash bezel located at the left of the
steering wheel (3, A). Next, using panel
removal tool, unsnap the parameter of
the top dash surrounding instrument
cluster (3).
