9.3 Checking magnetic stirring stone and filling in
cleaning ball
1. Unscrew the protective cap (pos. C) at the flow fitting (pos. F).
2. Remove the tube part (transport protection) from the drilled
hole.
Prior to installation of the potentiostatic electrode
(pos. E), do the following:
Note
– Check the position of the magnetic stirring
stone (cleaning motor)!
– Fill the cleaning balls into the electrode holder!
9.3.1 Visual inspection of magnetic stirring stone
1. Remove the position stabiliser from the magnetic stirring
stone.
The position of the magnetic stirring stone might be changed by
vibrations of the flow fitting during transport.
2. Check if the magnetic stirring stone is still seated flat on the
lower edge of the screw part.

Adding the cleaning balls
Cut off about 3-4 mm of one edge of the cleaning balls packet,
and carefully fill the 15 balls into the hole (pos. C) of the
potentiostatic electrode (pos. E).
Look into the mounting hole (pos. C):
All balls must be placed in the measuring chamber.
