5.2.2 Adjusting the thickness and type of shape to be tri-
mmed
Prior to trimming the edge, you must adjust the shape and
thickness of the board you want to trim, for which the ma-
chine is equipped with a trimming start and end stop that
controls the path of the trimming arm. To adjust the trimmer,
proceed as follows:

• Release the air pressure, closing the valve (A) (Fig. 15)
Check the thickness and shape of the board.
• Adjust the trimming start by using the control knob (B).
• Adjust the trimming end using the control knob (C).
• Open the air valve again once the adjustments have been

made.
You must not adjust the travel end stops for
the trimmer arm without having closed the air
valve first.
The table below shows two example positions for trimming
start and stop indicators (D) (Fig. 15) according to the thick-
ness and shape of the board on which we are going to work.
The indicator must match the thickness and shape of the
board.
