1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT
Before using this machine, read this INSTRUCTION MA-
NUAL carefully. Make sure you have understood it before
operating the machine. Keep the instruction manual for
future reference.

1.1 INTENDED PURPOSE OF THE MANUAL

This manual has been written by the manufacturer and it
is an essential part of the machine. The information con-
tained in it is intended for experienced, trained technical
personnel who are aware of the pertinent laws and re-
gulations. Personnel must be able to recognise and pre-
vent possible hazards, both when handling the machine
and during its installation, adjustment and maintenance
operations.
This manual contains all the information necessary to en-
sure the safe, correct use of this machine.

It has been divided into sections, listed in the table of
contents, so that information will be easier to locate.
The most important information appears in bold type un-
der the titles:
WARNING:
This indicates hazards that might cause se-
rious injuries to the operator if the steps
described are not strictly followed.
CAUTION:
This indicates hazards that may cause dama-
ge to property or to the machine itself.
1.2 MANUFACTURER AND MACHINE
IDENTIFICATION
The identification plate (Fig. 0), is located on the back of
the machine. It contains the following information:
A – Manufacturer's identification
B – Machine model
C – Rated voltage
D – Electrical frequency in Hz
E – Power input in kW
F – Rated current in Amperes
G –Number of phases
H – Weight in kg
I – Serial number
J – Year of manufacture

K -Operating pressure
It is necessary to specify the machine information or its
manufacturing number when requesting replacement
parts or any clarification regarding its operation.

1.3 TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

It is not recommended to repair the machine or to per-
form any operation not described in this manual. Only
authorised technical personnel may perform repairs and
readjustments of parts and machine safety devices.
