13.3 Error messages on the control unit

When the control unit detects an error, the yellow "Check" button lights up.
Press the "Check" button.

The list with error messages is displayed.
To acknowledge a message, select the message and press the "Confirm" button.

When there is no error message pending, the yellow "Check" button disappears.
Message
Luxmeter, no calibration data available
Lamp1 overtemperature
Lamp2 overtemperature
Lamp1 fan defective
Lamp2 fan defective
Lamp door is open
Lamp1 defective
Lamp2 defective
Exhaust fan defective
Overtemperature in tower base
No lamp selected
Optics carrier not found
CAN-handle left not found
CAN-handle right not found
Autofocus not found
Camera control unit not found
Luxmeter defective error
Cause
Luxmeter may not be calibrated.
The ventilation hole may be clogged/blocked.
The ventilation hole may be clogged/blocked.
Lamp 1 fan is defective.
Lamp 2 fan is defective.
The access door of the illumination unit is not
closed.
The push button for Illumination on/off flashes.
Lamp 1 is defective.
Lamp 2 is defective.
The exhause fan is defective.
The ventilation hole may be clogged/blocked.
The lamp selection switch is in an intermediate
position.
• Cable Connection loose.
• Cable damaged.
• Controller defective.
• Cable Connection loose.
• Cable damaged.
• Controller defective.
• Cable Connection loose.
• Cable damaged.

• Controller defective.
The camera may not have been switched on.
Photodiode in the optics carrier may be defective
or the light guide is not fully plugged in.
