3. Settings. Settings and adjustments to the product or accessories may only be made by people who have been given the necessary instructions by a medical product advisor. Please ensure that none of the user's extremities are in the respective area when making adjustments of any kind to minimise the risk of injury. -

3. Settings. 3.3 Seat height madita maxi. can be adjusted in height up to 12 cm. The seating aid is delivered lo- west setting. In order to change the seat height, turn the crank (A) below the base frame. In addition, the two attached gas pres- sure springs must be readjusted. -

3. Settings. 3.5 Seat depth The seat depth can be adjusted by loo- sening the two grub screws (A) on both sides of the chair. Please tighten the grub screws again after the adjustment! 3.6 Back height In order to change the backrest height, the two twist grips (B) on the rear of the backrest must be released. -

4. Accessories. 4.1 Headrest The height of the headrest can be ad- justed. Undo all four nuts (A) at the rear to bring the headset into the desired po- sition. Please tighten again the nuts after each ad- justment! 4.2 Thorax pelotte pads The thorax pelotte pads can be adjusted in height and width. -

4. Accessories. 4.5 Footrest The knee angle adjustment has a snap-on connection that allows adjustments in small steps. To do this, you must release the twist grips (A) on both sides. Subsequently, undo the grub screws (B) on the rear of the footrest to adjust the height. -

5. Cleaning and servicing. 5.2 Servicing Please carry out a visual inspection on a daily basis and regularly check the product for cracks, breaks, missing parts and malfunctions. In case of a defect or malfunction, please contact the specialist dealer who supplied you with the product (see Point 8.5). -

Any defects or damage found must be repaired by the specialist dealer or the manufacturer before reuse. 5.4 Spare parts Use only original accessories and original spare parts from Schuchmann, as otherwise the safety of the user is endangered and the warranty expires. To order spare parts, please contact the supplying specialist dealer (see point 8.5) stating the serial number of the product. - Page 17 5. Cleaning and servicing. The product is suited for re-use. Prior to forwarding, please follow the clea- ning and disinfection instructions stated in Point 5.1.
