9 Trouble-shooting and correction

Heating fails
No air pressure

service. To avoid un ne ces sa ry disap point ments, you should check
the following before contacting the nearest Nilfisk-ALTO service
or ga ni sa ti on:
Cause
• Check pressure in pres-
su re tank
• Check nozzle in spray
handle - nozzle clogged
up?
• Control valve closed
• Check thermostat, tempe-
rature below 25°C?
• Power supply switched
off?
• Is the washer empty?
• Air system leaking?
• Spray handle leaking?
Should malfunctions occur other than those mentioned above,
please contact the nearest Nilfisk-ALTO service organisation.
Correction
• Correct pressure is 3-6
bar; if necessary repres-
surize with compressed
air
• Correct tem pe ra tu re is 60-
85°C
• Check switch, socket and
fuses
• Refill
• Check all connections and
filler neck
• Check spray handle
