Features of the TB30
The TB30 is a terminal expansion module that can be inserted in the D4x5.
The TB30 contains the following terminals:

Caution
The option board may only be inserted and removed when the D4x5 control unit and the
TB30 option board are deenergized.

CBE30 communication board
Features of the CBE30
The system is connected to the isochronous Realtime Ethernet (PROFINET IO with IRT)
using the Communication Board Ethernet (CBE30) interface module for SIMOTION D4x5.
The module also supports PROFINET IO with RT, in order to be able to connect the I/O used
under PROFINET. The option board has an X1400 interface with four ports.
Caution
The communication board may only be inserted and removed when the D4x5 control unit
and the CBE30 communication board are deenergized.
