4.2.24 Reset Settings
This setting allows you to reset all menu settings to the factory default settings. This function
will not delete any media stored on your memory card.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Reset Settings' by using the UP or
DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Reset Settings' submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and YES or NO.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
4.2.25 Format Memory Card
This setting allows you to erase all video and photo files stored on your memory card.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Format Memory Card' by using the
UP or DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Format Memory Card' submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and YES or NO.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
NOTE: Use extreme caution when accessing this setting. There is no way to recover
formatted media. Once you format your memory card, the previously stored files
cannot be recovered.
4.2.26 FW Version
This menu displays the current firmware version of your camcorder.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'FW Version' by using the UP or
DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
1. Press the OK button to enter the 'FW Version' submenu. The menu will display the
current firmware version.
2. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
