5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
4.2.8 Lane Departure
This menu allows you to enable or disable Lane Departure Guide. When enabled, the Lane
Departure Guide adds a yellow guide to your dashcam screen for keeping in your driving
lane. It will also alert you if it senses drifting out of the driving lane when moving over 40
MPH. The guide is not printed on recorded video and is only visible on the dashcam screen.
Keep in mind this does not help you operate the vehicle but to better help drivers promote
better driving habits.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Lane Departure' by using the UP or
DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Lane Departure' submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and select a setting.
You can select from Enable and Disable.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
4.2.9 Front Collision
This menu allows you to enable or disable Front Collision Warning. The front collision
warning system is an advanced safety technology that helps you maintain a safe distance
from the vehicle in front of you. The driver will be alerted when they get too close to the car in
front. Keep in mind this does not help you operate the vehicle but to better help drivers
promote better driving habits.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Front Collision' by using the UP or
DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Front Collision' submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and select a setting.
You can select from Enable and Disable.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
