4.2.10 Speed Limit Alert
This menu allows you to set up a Speed Limit Alert. When enabled, the dashcam will alert
you if it detects your vehicle exceeding the selected speed rating. The GPS Logging feature
must also be enabled for the Speed Limit Alert to function. Keep in mind this does not help
you operate the vehicle but to better help drivers promote better driving habits.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Speed Limit Alert' by using the UP or
DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Speed Limit Alert' submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and select a setting.
You can select from Off, and wide range of speeds from 60mph to 120mph.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
4.2.11 Audio Recording
This menu allows you to enable or disable audio recording on captured video files. You can
also quickly enable or disable audio capture during a video recording by pressing the
Down/Next button.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Audio Recording' by using the UP or
DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Audio Recording' submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and select a setting.
You can select from Enable and Disable.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
4.2.12 GPS Status
This menu displays the current GPS status and coordinates. The GPS coordinates will only
display if the windshield mount is attached to the dashcam, GPS is set to Enabled in the
settings and the dashcam has a clear view of the outdoor sky.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'GPS Coordinates' by using the UP or
DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'GPS Coordinates' submenu.
3. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
