4.2.5 Video Clip Duration
This setting allows you to set a maximum duration for each video clip recorded. Once you
select an option, your camcorder will record video clips in this time interval only. Once your
selected duration recording time is reached, the camcorder will end the recording and begin
recording a new video file seamlessly.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Video Clip Duration' by using the UP
or DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Video Clip Duration' submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and select a setting.
You can select from 1 Minute, 2 Minutes and 3 Minutes.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
4.2.6 Exposure
This menu allows adjustment for the brightness levels of the video being captured.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Exposure' by using the UP or DOWN
buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Exposure submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and select a setting.
You can select from a range of -2 to + 2.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
5. To exit the settings menu, press the MENU button and your camcorder will return to
Capture Mode and will automatically begin recording.
4.2.7 Front Move Alert
This menu allows you to enable or disable the FCMD – Front Car Move Detection. When
enabling this setting, the dashcam will alert you to drive your car forward if it detects that a
vehicle in front has moved and your vehicle is still stationary. Keep in mind this does not
help you operate the vehicle but to better help drivers promote better driving habits.
1. In Capture Mode press the MENU button. Select 'Front Move Alert' by using the UP or
DOWN buttons to scroll through the menu pages.
2. Press the OK button to enter the 'Front Move Alert' submenu.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons again to navigate the submenu and select a setting.
You can select from Enable and Disable.
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selected setting.
