It is always important to check the technical data of the instruction manual for the drive you
are installing to certify that the drive is able to handle the maximum current of the motor. In
the example above a 100Hp (75kW) motor uses 125amps maximum current. The technical
data using the High Overload (150%) section and 460 V and VLT,N rating equals 130amp,
which means that it can handle this motor.
