    Description of the MID device Description of the MID device The MID variants are approved for the measurement of active energy for billing purposes in accordance with the European Measuring Instruments Di- rective (MID) 2014/32/EU. The MID variants have an active power meter (certified energy meter) and are specifically indicated on the type plate.

  • Page 24 Appendix: Access protection xChargeIn Configuring and diagnosing To configure and diagnose, the two screws of the housing cover must be loosened and the housing cover must be removed. The connection panel cover is located underneath. After the first commissioning, the charging sta- tion operator can secure the connection panel cover by means of a seal.
