TOOL REST ASSEMBLY

Place the left tool rest (#16)
1.
over the left tool rest
bracket and secure in
position with a 5/16 in. flat
washer (#17) and 5/16-18 x
1 in. knob (#14).
2. Attach left tool rest bracket
(#13) to the bottom of the
left wheel guard using one
3/8-16 x 3/4 in. hex head
bolt (#11) and one 3/8 in.
flat washer (#12). Make sure
that the bracket's slot is
located over the raised boss
on the guard. Tighten the
bolts finger tight.
3. Position the tool rest so that
distance between the tool
rest and grinding wheel is less than 1/8 in. Reposition the
tool rest's angle when necessary. Secure all knobs and bolts.
4. Mount right tool rest (#51) or the grooved tool rest (#18-1)
in the same way.

EYESHIELD ASSEMBLY

1. Attach the spark guard (#3) to left wheel guard using
3/8-16 x 1/2 in. knob (#24) and 3/8 in. flat washer (#12).
2. Pass the two #10-24 x 3/8 in. pan head screws from
the eyeshield kit (#23) through the left upper eyeshield
bracket (#21), the eyeshield (#23) and the lower eyeshield
bracket (#23).
IMPORTANT! Left upper eyeshield bracket is stamped 'L'
for identification.
