MOUNT GRINDER – WOOD WORKBENCH
The hardware to mount the grinder is not included.
1.
Clean the work area where the grinder will be mounted.
2.
Position the grinder and check that the grinder will be level
and there are no obstructions around it that will interfere
with a long workpiece.
3.
Slide a flat washer over a 1/4 x 1 in. wood screw and secure
the grinder in place.
4. Repeat with three more screws. Tighten all screws until the
gap between the grinder base and the bench top is 1/8 in.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

WARNING! A qualified electrician must install all electrical
connections. Make sure the tool is off and disconnected
from the power source while the motor is mounted,
connected, reconnected or anytime the wiring is inspected
(see Electrical Safety).
The motor and wires are installed as shown in the wiring
diagram (Fig. 2). The motor is prewired at the factory for
115 volts.
The motor is assembled with approved, 3-conductor wire that
is suitable for 115/230 volts.
To use the grinder with a 230V power supply, have a qualified
electrician rewire the motor and attach a 230 volt, 15A three-
prong plug onto the grinder's power supply cord.
