1.16 The products described in this instruction book can
change at any time to be in accordance to the new
technology and the standards. These devices comply with
the directive 2014/30/UE according to electromagnetic
compatibility, 2014/35/UE according to low voltage,
2011/65/UE according to ROHS directive and Commission
Delegated
2009/125/EC regulation for ecodesign.
1.17 This device is intended for use at a maximum altitude
of 3000m.
1.18 Do not throw to the garbage your device but
hand it in a collection place where it can be recycled.
1.19 The instruction book of this product is available by

2. Location (See general warnings 1 to 6)
In the European Union (products certified CE according to European regulation), mandatory vertical mounting. Refer to
Range Table page 2 and to the figures ❷ & ❸ page 2.
3. Water connections (See general warnings 10 to 14)
All water supply pipes must be thoroughly cleaned before connection. The connection to the hot water outlet must be
made using a bimetallic nipple or a plastic dielectric union in order to avoid corrosion of the tubes (due to direct contact
between iron and copper). A brass union must not be used.
UNVENTED INSTALLATION: Refer to page 2, figure ❹. A new safety device which conforms to current
standards (in Europe EN 1487) MUST be fitted, with a rated pressure of 0.9 MPa (9 bar), and dimension ½ (S3) and
¾" (S4) '
Do not use the safety valve included in this packaging in France ("Métropole" and DOM-TOM...)
VENTED INSTALLATION (S3 15/30/50 l): Refer to page 2, figure ❺. (Supply for a single water drawing point). The
installation must be equipped with a special mixer tap (not supplied).
Attention: each time the unit heats up; water will flow from the tap. Do not block this flow.
4. Electrical connections
The water heater can be connected and powered only by a single-phase 230 V ~ AC. Connect the water heater via a
fixed duct with a cross section of 2.5mm². For that use a standard duct (rigid or flexible) to the calibrated receptacle in
the cover. In the case of appliances fitted with a cable or a plug (prohibited in France), connect up directly. The earthing
conductor must be connected to earth or lead the earth wire to the terminal provided indicated by the symbol
connection is absolutely necessary for safety reasons The green-yellow earth wire must be longer than the two live
wires. Installation must include upstream of the appliance, an all pole cut-out device (contact opening at least 3 mm:
fuse, breaker switch). When the water pipes are made of insulating material, the electrical contacts must be protected
by a 30 mA earth-leakage breaker conforming to the standards in force.
The installation must be equipped, upstream of the appliance, with a bipolar cut-out device (contact opening at least 3
mm; fuse, breaker switch.) If the ducts are made of insulating material, the electrical contacts must be protected by a 30
mA earth-leakage breaker conforming to the applicable standards. Adapt the connection to the power supply (see
diagrams and table). Before removing the cover, switch off the power.
Thermal circuit breaker: All our products are equipped with a thermal circuit breaker with manual resetting which shuts
off the power to the water heater if it becomes overheated.
If the circuit breaker keeps tripping. a) Switch off the power before taking any further action, b) Remove the
cover, c) Check the electrical connections, d) Reset the thermal circuit breaker. If the circuit breaker
continues to trip, replace the thermostat. Never by-pass the safety device or the thermostat. Connect the
power supply only via the terminal.
