InfiniPath Software RPMs
Linux distributions of InfiniPath software are installed from binary RPMs. RPM is a
Linux packaging and installation tool used by Red Hat, SUSE, and CentOS. Each
set of RPMs uses a build identifier
distribution identifiers are shown below with the associated operating systems.

The individual RPMs are listed and described in Appendix A "RPM Descriptions".
To generate a list of InfiniPath software package contents on each RPM run:
$ rpm -qlp rpm_file_name

OpenFabrics RPMs
The OpenFabrics kernel module support is now part of the InfiniPath RPMs.
However, in order to use OpenFabrics, you need to install these user libraries,
utilities and other program RPMs.
Each set of the OpenFabrics RPMs uses a distribution identifier
for this release are fc4, suse9.3,and sles10. Note that these identifiers are
different than those for the InfiniPath RPMs.
The RPM distribution identifiers are shown below with the associated operating
systems.

The earlier OpenIB for PathScale RPMs (Versions 0.1.0 and 0.2.0) for
the InfiniPath 1.1 and 1.2 releases are not compatible with this InfiniPath
Version 2.0 release. If you have installed these RPMs, you must remove
and a distribution identifier
