INSTALLATION

1 In order to connect the UP18
tank to the autopilot tank, proceed
as follows: unscrew plug (1) using
a 4 mm hex key.
Screw the 1/8" fitting (code 43179P)
(2) using a 9/16" open-ended wrench
with a tightening torque of 12 Nm.
Apply Loctite 542 or Loctite 545
sealant on the threads of the fittings.
CAUTION
The autopilot pump must be in-
stalled lower than the hydraulic
steering.

2 Install the straight fittings as
shown in the Installation and Main-
tenance Manual of pumps.
NOTICE
Use a straight fitting 1/8 NPT ->
9/16-24 UNEF on the outlet for the
UP18 compensation and the straight
fittings 1/4 NPT -> 9/16-24 UNEF on
the outlets for the compensation line,
starboard and port of the autopilot.

INSTALLAZIONE

1 Per collegare il serbatoio dell'
UP18 al serbatoio dell'autopilota
procedere come segue: svitare il
tappo (1) utilizzando una chiave a
brugola da 4 mm.
Avvitare il raccordo da 1/8" (cod.
43179P) (2) tramite una chiave
aperta da 9/16" con una coppia di
serraggio di 12 Nm.
Applicare sul filetto dei raccordi i
sigillanti Loctite 542 o Loctite 545.
ATTENZIONE
La pompa autopilota deve essere
installata più in basso rispetto alla
timoneria.

2 Installare i raccordi dritti come
illustrato nel Manuale di Installazio-
ne e Manutenzione delle pompe.
NOTA
Utilizzare un raccordo dritto 1/8 NPT
-> 9/16-24 UNEF sull'uscita per la
compensazione dell'UP18 e i rac-
cordi dritti 1/4 NPT -> 9/16-24 UNEF
sulle uscite per la linea di compen-
sazione, per il ramo starboard e per
il ramo port dell'autopilota.
INSTALLATION
1 Pour connecter le réservoir
de l'UP18 au réservoir du pilote
automatique suivre les indications
suivantes: dévisser le bouchon (1)
à l'aide d'une clé Allen de 4 mm.
Visser le raccord de 1/8" (code
43179P) (2) à l'aide d'une clé ouverte
de 9/16" avec un couple de serrage
de 12 Nm.
Appliquer sur le filet des raccords
l'adhésif Loctite 542 ou Loctite 545.
ATTENTION
La pompe de pilote automatique
doit être installée en dessous de la
direction hydraulique.
2 Installer les raccords droits
comme illustré dans le Manuel d'Ins-
tallation et d'Entretien des pompes.
NOTE
Utiliser un raccord droit 1/8 NPT
-> 9/16-24 UNEF sur la sortie pour
la compensation de UP18 et les
raccords droits 1/4 NPT -> 9/16-24
UNEF sur les sorties pour la ligne de
compensation, tribord droit et bâbord
gauche du pilote automatique.
