    9 ALARM MANAGEMENT MACHINE BLOCK ALARM MESSAGES They are alarms referring to GENERAL functions of the machine, originating from components/cases for which it is NOT possible to keep the other functions of the machine enabled. These alarms cause (subject to the following exceptions) a BLOCK of all the functions of the machine (coffee delivery/ hot water/M.A.T., temperature control, boiler water level control).
  • Page 49 BOILER TEMPERATURE NOT REACHED If after 15 minutes from turning on the machine, the boiler temperature sensor does not detect at least 80 °C, all machine functions are disabled. 24 VAC VOLTAGE FAILURE AT THE EV SOLENOID VALVES When the electronic control board detects the power on the transformer secondary = 0 volts for 3 consecutive seconds, all machine functions are disabled.
  • Page 50 NO BLOCK ALARM MESSAGES These alarms usually cause the block of a specific function , but all the other features of the machines are still active (coffee delivery/ hot water / M.A.T., temperature control, boiler water level control). When such messages occur a POPUP showing "MACHINE LOCK ALARM" is displayed in the main DISPLAY, followed by the description “MACHINE ALARM” followed by the description of the alarm (see image 1 ).
  • Page 51 FAULTY WATER PRESSURE SENSOR It occurs when the water pressure sensor has failed. With active alarm, the pressure value detected on the status bar is replaced by two dashes and all the alarms connected to it are silenced (MISSING WATER PRESSURE, HIGH/LOW PUMP PRESSURE). LOW PUMP PRESSURE It occurs when after 5 seconds from the delivery start, the pressure detected by the pump is <= 6 BAR.
  • Page 52 DELIVERY GROUP ALARMS They are alarms referring to specific functions connected to the DELIVERY GROUP , which in any case DO NOT cause the COFFEE DELIVERY BLOCK . When the alarm occurs , the respective message is inidcated on the display corresponding to the affected group.
  • Page 53 With active alarm, the corrisponding group is deactivated (same visualization of when ECO is actve) with the symbol TRIANGLE with exklamation point active instead of the S50 logo. You reset the alarm when the serial communication is restored by switching off and on the machine.

    ORDINARY MAINTENANCE BY THE USER Note! instructions as to cleaning and regular maintenance. Attention! Cleaning and routine maintenance operations must be carried out by the user according to the manufacturer’s instructions given here below. Before performing any cleaning operation, make sure the machine is unplugged from the power supply. Cleaning and routine maintenance operations must be carried out when the machine is cold and using protective gloves to prevent abrasions.
