11. ANNEX A. EXTERNAL ANTENNA INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

The following is a general description of the Arisense External Antenna installation procedure.
Please note:

The actual installation process depends on the specific layout of the installation site and on the operation
conditions.

The antenna installation should be done after completing the Air Valve installation on the pipeline.

The external antenna installation procedure shown in the following pictures is valid for all Arisense Air Valves
models.
11.1 Measure the required length of the corrugated conduit tube, from the air valve's antenna connector to the
installation point of the antenna on the manhole wall [1]. Cut the tube length accordingly.
11.2 Insert the antenna cable through the conduit tube [1], [2].

11.3 Insert 10-20cm of Heat Shrink Coupler Sleeve over the corrugated conduit tube at the air valve side [1], [2].
