Status indication by means of LEDs
The Frequency Converter frequency converter has three LEDs for indicating
statuses and fault statuses.

The LEDs are electronically controlled. If there is no voltage supplied to the
electronic components and sensors, the LEDs do not light up. However, the power
unit might still be receiving power.

This LED continues to be illuminated after the power
supply has been switched off until the capacitors of the
intermediate circuit have been discharged to under 400 V.
