Software-update preparation

plusoptiX S12C

Prepare an empty SD card with a minimum capacity of 1 GB.

Click on the download-link with the newest software update which you can find on our

homepage and save the file on your computer.

You will need the following tools to make an update for the plusoptiX 12:

Win32Diskimager

and

7Zip 32Bit

7Zip

64Bit.

1. Please extract the downloaded 7z-file to somewhere using 7zip. You will get a file ending

with .img

2. Insert an empty at least 1 GB large SD-Card, it will be mounted to a volume letter like F:

3. Open with win32diskimager the .img-file and select the SD-Card (F:) as destination and

proceed.

4. When finished you can insert for testing the SD-Card into a switched off plusoptiX S12C

and switch it on. You will get a message, whether to make an update instead of the normal

software.
