If a program does not exist, the display presents step 1 of a program. The operator programs the
actions for the step as described below.
Step # (1-35 possible)
Program # (1-15 possible)
5 fields to enter actions for
that program step -
numbered in red to
demonstrate the sequence
* indicates the field being
edited
The first two lines of the display show the step number and the program number that is being
created. The fourth line of the display shows that the station number and the station time have not
been programmed for this step yet. An asterisk symbol ('*') under STA indicates that the Station
number entry is expected. The last two lines of the display show that Criticality has been selected as
'Not critical', Agitation (dipping) and 'Normal exit speed' has been selected by default for this step.
The user can enter a station number followed by ENTER key and the asterisk symbol ('*') will move
to the TIME selection. Station number and Station Time parameters need numerical entry followed
by ENTER key. The other three parameters – Criticality, Dipping and Exit Speed – are selected by
pressing 0 or 1 key for desired value.
The ENTER key can be used to go from one parameter to another. Once all the parameters for a given
step are appropriately set, the user may press the down arrow key to move to the next step. If all
steps are programmed for a given program, press the STOP key. At this point the user may:
Save the newly created program by pressing ENTER
Exit without saving and lose the new program by pressing CLEAR
