LED Descriptions

This section describes the LEDs on the front panel of the chassis.

PWR LED

The PWR LED indicates the power status, as described in the following table.

The FAN LED indicates the status of the Fan Tray module, as described in the following table.

State
On The chassis is receiving power and the Power Supply modules are
operating normally.
On One of the Power Supply modules is faulty.
Off The chassis is not receiving any power.

Note: The BITS LED is currently not used.
Reset pinhole button for resetting the device and
restoring it to factory defaults:
To reset the device: Using a paper clip or any
other similar pointed object, press and hold down
the button for at least 2 seconds (but no more
than 10 seconds).
To restore the device to factory defaults: Using a
paper clip or any other similar pointed object,
press down the button for at least 15 seconds (but
not longer than 25 seconds).
RS-232 serial port (RJ-45) for connecting to the
device's Command-Line Interface (CLI).
