CHAPTER 3    Physical Description

HA LED

The HA LED indicates High-Availability (HA) status, as described in the following table.
HA will be supported only from a specific 7.4 software version. For more information,
refer to the

Fan Tray Description

The frontal Fan Tray unit is a front-to-rear air-forced cooling system with a replaceable air filter.
The air is sucked in from the front panel and extracted out the rear panel, as illustrated below:

On
The device is running in HA mode and is the Active unit.
Flashing
The device is running in HA mode and is the Redundant unit.
On
The device is running in Standalone mode (i.e., HA is not
configured).
On
The device is the Active unit, but an HA synchronization
failure exists (e.g., HA Maintenance link failure).
Flashing
The device is the Redundant unit, but a failure exists in HA.
Off
The device is booting up, before HA synchronization.
