Check the flow valve periodically, or when there is a blockage:
a.
Remove the sole and then silicon seal
b.
Remove the baffle plate by firmly pressing the plastic side tabs inwards
c.
Remove and clear any debris from the flow valve
d.
Replace flow valve, baffle plate, silicon seal and then sole.

Beware of the pool blanket effect
Pool blankets prevent chlorine evaporating. If you're using
one, carefully monitor your chlorine or salt water setting to
avoid over chlorinating your pool, which can harm your VTX-3
and void your warranty. If you have any questions please
