Installing workstation in the Experion Orion Console

3.4.1

Installing a workstation

For installing a workstation on the Experion Orion Console, refer to the section Installing a Workstation
in the Experion Orion Console Installation Guide.
3.5

Installing workstation in Classic console

This section provides instructions for installing a newly purchased Honeywell workstation in a newly
purchased Honeywell Classic console. The workstation is packaged in the manufacturer's OEM
shipping carton and then shipped from the Honeywell factory. This procedure assumes that a new
Classic console is shipped from the Honeywell factory with workstation hardware pre-installed.

The following image illustrates a fixed rail mounting kit TP-PCMCF1-100 installed in a Classic console,
when a new Classic console and fixed rail mounting kit is received from Honeywell factory.
To install the workstation in classic console furniture using fixed rail mount
option
1. Remove the console door to access the console enclosure.
2. Determine an appropriate location for the workstation by referring to the requirements listed in
Table in section Classic console mounting requirements.
