OPERATOR'S CONSOLE
The addition of an operator's console to a Model 120 ITlakes further ITlonitoring and control
facilities available to the operator and increases the scope and power of the associated central
processor.
The Type 220-1 and 220-3 Consoles perforITl the saITle basic functions as a control
panel and provide the capability for SOITle iITlportant auxiliary operations as well.

The Type 220-1 Console includes a console cabinet, a typewriter keyboard, a Teletype
ITlodel 33 paper carriage and typing ITlechanisITl, a LOG push- button indicator, a TYPE indicator,
and a control unit.
The 220-1 ITlust be placed with respect to the power cabinet such that the
operator ITlay have convenient access to both the console keyboard and the Model 120 control
panel located on the power cabinet.
The Type 220-3 Console consists of a console cabinet, a typewriter keyboard, a Teletype
ITlodel 33 paper carriage and typing ITlechanisITl, a control panel containing various indicators
and push-buttons, and a control unit.
The Type 220-3 Console, which is designed to be con-
venient either while sitting or standing, enables all the control panel functions except that of
the DISPLAY

button to be perforITled froITl the keyboard.
Note that the Type 220- 3 Console re-
places the control panel, which is entirely reITloved.
Both console types require two input/ output trunks.
Either console ITlay be connected to a
Type 121 Central Processor provided the Series 200 Control Unit Adapter (Feature 1015 or 1016)
is included.
