UNPACKING & CHECKING
PACKAGING
Carefully remove the cordless drill from the pack-
aging and examine it for any sign of damage that
may have happened during shipping. Lay the con-
tents out and check them against the parts shown
below. If any part is damaged or missing; please
contact the Customer Service Department and do
not attempt to use the drill. The packaging material
should be retained at least during the guarantee
period: in case the machine needs to be returned
for repair.
Warning! Some of the packaging materials used
may be harmful to children. Do not leave any of
these materials in the reach of children. If any of
the packaging is to be thrown away, make sure they
are disposed of correctly; according to local regu-
lations.
BARE MACHINE
This impact driver is supplied without a battery, and
without a charger. These optional accessories are avail-
able separately.
FITTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY (H)
Slide the battery into the handle until it engages. To
remove the battery, push the yellow battery release
button and pull the battery out of the handle.
CHECKING THE BATTERY STATUS
The battery is equipped with a charge level indicator.
Use the battery charge status indicator to plan your
work and/or to avoid deep discharge.
To check the charge level, press the battery charge
ƒ
level indicator button.
The charge level is represented by red,yellow and
ƒ
green LEDs.
When the battery is fully charged all three LEDs light up.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

NOTE
Before first using your impact drill, please
charge the battery first.
The charger is equipped with a LED charging indicator
lamp. During charging, the indicator light will light up
red. After completion of charging,the light turns green.

Connect the charger to a suitable mains socket. The
ƒ
green charging light comes on
Slide the battery onto the charger, the red charging
ƒ
light comes on
The charger may become warm and buzz slightly during
ƒ
charging. This is normal and does not indicate a fault.
INSTALLING AND REMOVING BITS

Pull the locking sleeve forward, guide the applica-
tion tool into the tool holder up to the stop and re-
lease the locking sleeve to lock the application tool.
Screwdriver bits can be inserted using a universal
bit holder with ball catch.
Removing: Pull the locking sleeve forward and re-
move the application tool.

When working with an application tool, pay atten-
tion that the application tool is connected secure-
ly to the tool holder. When the application tool is
not securely connected with the tool holder, it can
come off during application.
Slide the application tool onto the square drive of
the tool holder. Due to the way the system oper-
ates, the application tool will move around slightly
in the tool holder; this has no influence on the func-
tion/safety.
LED WORK LIGHT
To aid working in confined, inadequately lit spaces,
the LED work light automatically illuminates when the
trigger is activated.
SET THE ROTATIONAL DIRECTION (E)
The rotational direction switch is used to change
the rotational direction of the power tool. How-
ever, this is not possible while the trigger switch is
being pressed.
Right rotation: To drive in screws and tighten nuts,
press the rotational direction switch through to the
left stop.
Different speed and torque setting (F)
Press the button (6) to select the speed and torque,
squeeze the trigger with different pressure to vary
the speed according to different work conditions
Setting 1: 0-1000 RPM (max torque 80Nm)
Setting 2: 0-1800 RPM (max torque 120Nm)
Setting 3: 0-2700 RPM (max torque 200Nm)
Left Rotation: To loosen and unscrew screws and
nuts, press the rotational direction switch through
to the right stop.
For maximum instant torque press once the selec-
tion button (6) (G)
TRIGGER
When the trigger is depressed, the chuck will rotate
(provided the direction switch is set in the forward
or reverse position). This trigger switch is electronic
which enables the user to vary the speed continuous-
ly. The speed varies according to how far the trigger
switch is depressed. The further it is depressed, the
faster the chuck will rotate. The lighter it is depressed,
