Risk of crushing!
Sine tables without adjustment mechanism pose a risk of the top plate falling
down and causing crush injuries to hands.
Sine tables with adjustment mechanism poses a risk of jamming during the
adjustment motion.
On smaller devices, always hold on to the top plate securely during
■
adjustment.
On sine tables with adjustment mechanism, note the risk of jamming
■
during the adjustment motion. Proceed with particular caution during the
adjustment.
Risk of electric shock!
The magnetic holding force is switched on and off with current pulses.
Electromagnetic and electro permanent magnetic chucks use high magnet-
ising and demagnetising voltages. An electric shock can result in death or
serious injuries.
Always protect the junction box and rubberised cable against damage.

To exclude malfunctions and hazards for the operator, it must be ensured
■
that the junction box is sealed, in particular during wet work and after
any repair work.
Electrical connections must always be installed by a qualified electri-
■
cian (as per VDE 1000 Part 10). The regulations of VDE 0100 must be
observed for all other work.
Work on electrical components is only permitted while the power supply
■
is switched off.
If the magnet has a connector, only unplug this once the demagnetising
■
cycles has been completed and the red signal light is permanently on.
Risk from electric arc.
Damage!
The influence or destructive effect of precision sine tables with electro
permanent magnetic chuck/electromagnetic chuck on electronic medical
devices, computers, watches and data carriers must be noted.
Keep electronic medical devices, computers, watches and data carriers

away from the exposure zone of the magnetic field.
