4.
Bleeding air from swing motor
(only after draining oil from swing motor case)
1.
Run the engine at low idling, loosen air bleeding plug
check that oil oozes out from air bleeding plug
NOTICE
When doing this, do not operate the swing.
2.
If oil does not ooze out, stop the engine, remove air bleeding
plug
, fill the motor case with hydraulic oil.
3.
After completion of the air bleed operation, tighten air bleeding
plug
.
4.
Run the engine at low idling, and swing 2 or more times slowly
and uniformly to the left and to the right.
NOTICE
If the air is not bled from the swing motor, the bearings of the
motor may be damaged.

Bleeding air from travel motor

(only after draining oil from travel motor case)
1.
Run the engine at low idling, remove hose
tighten it if oil flows out.
2.
Keep the engine running at low idling, and swing the work equip-
ment 90° to bring it to the side of the track.
3.
Jack up the machine until the track is raised slightly from the
ground. Rotate the track under no load for 2 minutes. Repeat this
procedure on both the left and right sides, and rotate the track
equally both forward and in reverse.
