DCCO storage

Before storing the spreader, we recommend some precautions to preserve its properly
functioning and to let it ready for the next job.
• Remove all the residues that remain in the equipment after its use.
• Wash the whole equipment. Remove the dirty grease, the earth that accumulates in
the wheelset and the grass seeds that accumulate in the corners.
• Repair the missing painting, if required.
• Remove the transmission chain and keep it bathed in oil. The transmission belt must
be removed to avoid its drying.
• Lubricate all grease fittings until the fresh grease can be seen.
• Spray the entire equipment with penetrating or anti-corrosive oil.
• Replace the missing or damaged safety stickers. Marchesan provides these stickers,
upon request and indication of the respective serial number. The operator must know
the need to keep these stickers in place and in good conditions. Also, the operator
must be aware that an accident can occur if the instructions are not followed.
• Keep the equipment in a sheltered and dry place, protected from direct sunlight and
rain, properly supported on the ground or easels.
