Working preparation
Proper cardan assembly
While assembling the cardan shaft, care should be taken so that the pieces at both
ends are aligned. The discrepancy being the end pieces in 90° may cause vibration and
increased wear of the universal joints, reducing the lifetime of the assembly.
Deflector use
The deflector (A) avoid overloads in the conveyor and allows an smoother operation
and conveyor activation.
The deflector should never be removed for lime distribution.
The deflector can be removed for organic compound distribution, if necessary.
Whenever using the deflector, it must be secured with a cotter pin in order to not get
loose and damage the conveyor.

Tractor speed

The tractor speed should be even for the whole service.
Choose a safe speed according to the type of soil.
We recommend an average speed from 6 to 7 km/h.
