Wall Mounting Using a Corner
Bracket and an Arm Extension
This procedure explains how to mount the dome to
a wall using a corner bracket and an arm exten-
sion. After completing this procedure, go to page 2-
17 for dome setup and attachment procedures.
Ensure the wall material, particularly
sheet rock, can support the dome.
Tools Required
Level
Phillips head screwdriver
Drill with 1/4" concrete bit
Ratchet wrench with 5.5mm and 11mm sockets.

Procedure
Referring to Figure 2-12:
1. Insert wall mount bracket [d] into the corner
bracket [a] until it snaps in place. Secure
brace of wall mount bracket using M5x8
screw [c]
2. Cut arm [e] to length and slip cap [f] over it.
3. Insert the arm into the wall mount bracket
and secure using two M4x10 screws [g].
4. Place arm assembly on wall, level, and mark
mounting hole locations.
5. Anchor by performing step 2a, 2b, or 2c.
a. To sheet rock: Use anchor [j], washer [k], and
screw [l].
b. To wood: Use washer [k], and screw [l].
c. To concrete: Use anchor hardware [i].
6. Apply self-adhesive label applique [b] over
access slots in corner bracket.
7. Attach the base or top hat housing by per-
forming step 7a or 7b.
a. Direct base attachment. Attach the dome's base
to the flange of the arm using two M3 locking nuts
[h]. Feed cables as shown.
b. Top hat housing attachment. See "Top Hat Hous-
ing", page 2-5.
8. Go to "Dome Setup and Attachment", page
2-17.
