6.5 Setting Up Group Mailbox Email Notification Options

The Email Notification feature can also be used for group mailboxes set as a subscriber in 47-03-03. These
settings are made on a per mailbox basis and with the exception of 47-02-20 must be done in system
programming. The user can enable and disable this feature from mailbox setup which affects 47-02-20.
Enter extension number for group mailbox.
47-03-02
Set group mailbox to 1 (Subscriber).

Enable Email Notification on a per mailbox basis. The number of mailboxes that can

enable this feature is controlled by the Email Client license 1014.
Set notification email address

When set the voice mail will be attached to the email as a WAV file. When disabled the
47-06-20
system sends a email notification but does not attach the voice mail. This option should be disabled
when sending SMS messages to a mobile phone.

6.6 To enable or disable email notification for a mailbox

The following instructions are for end users to enable or disable the email notification and assume all system
programming has been done to allow this feature and the system has the required licenses.
1. From extension press VMsg key
2. When in mailbox press [More] softkey.
3. Press [Setup] softkey.
4. Press [Notfy] softkey.
5.Press [Email]softkey and choose to enable or disable email notification.
6. When finished hang up.
