1. End of hopper sensor characteristics:
The end of hopper sensors are capacity sensors which are normally open. The
presence or absence on contact of the sensor is translated into a 0 - 12 V signal.
A red diode lights up at the back of the sensor when the front of the sensor
comes into contact with a target.
2. Alarm display:
When working, when a sensor is uncovered for over 10 seconds, the alarm
opposite activates. A red arrow indicates the side in question.
If the side opposite is greyed out, the sensor is still covered with product.
3. Programming:
On the universal terminal, access the

Actuators & sensors
Enter the PIN code 1936 and confi rm.
Press
to display the
LEVEL sensors
=> To activate the option
4. Checking a sensor:
Measure the tension between the blue wire terminals and the yellow/green
wire:
Sensor without product contact => ≈ 12 V and red diode on sensor off .
Sensor with product contact => ≈ 0 V and red diode on sensor on.
