5- Electric control with pulse counter and/or multimeter
It is also possible to control an electric actuator using a direct power supply
and a pulse counter.
Connect a +/- or -/+ power supply on the red and blue wires, the rod will
extend or retract. There is a limit switch. On the 2 other wires (black and
white) it is possible to count the pulses with a specific counter (e.g. "Omron
H7EC", etc).
There should be 260 pulses for a complete extension or retraction of the
rod.
It is also possible to check the actuator motor by measuring the resistance
between the blue and red wires when it is in mid-stroke.
Result 2.3 to 2.4 Ω.
