1-2-3. Rear Panel

1. Remove the upper and lower covers. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)
2. Open two portions A of the rear panel in the direction
shown by the arrows and remove the rear panel in the
direction shown by the arrow B.

3. Install the rear panel in the reverse order of steps 1 and 2.

Align the four projections of the chassis securely with
the four grooves of the rear panel when installing the
rear panel.

1-3. Removal and Installation of Boards

1-3-1. SY-310 Board
1. Remove the upper and lower covers. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)
2. Remove the front panel. (Refer to Section 1-2-2.)
3. Remove the rear panel. (Refer to Section 1-2-3.)
4. Remove the three screws (B2 x 4), then remove the
SY-310 board in the direction shown by the arrow A.
5. Disconnect the two flexible flat cables from the
connectors (CN701 and CN804) on the SY-310 board.
6. Disconnect the three harnesses from the connectors
(CN702, CN801, and CN805) on the SY-310 board.

7. Remove the four screws (B2 x 12) and four nuts, then
remove the earth plate (B) and PC card holder.

8. Install the SY-310 board in the reverse order of steps 1
to 7.
