2-4-5. PC Card Slot Check

Check whether PC card slot and memory card are
recognized normally or not.
1. Click Setting of the Main Viewer page to display the
administrator setting menu page.
2. Attach the Memory Stick inserted in the PC card
adaptor to the PC card slot of SNC-Z20N/Z20P.
3. After approximately 5 seconds, click "System" in the
Basic menu to display the System setting page.
4. Check the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: ATA Card (free space: xxxxxxbyte)
should be indicated in A slot (adrv)
section of the Default URL.
5. Close the System setting page.
6. Remove the PC card adaptor with the Memory Stick
from the PC card slot of SNC-Z20N/Z20P.

2-4-6. RS-232C Interface Check

Check the RS-232C operation that formed from
transparency type.
1. Start the terminal software (Hyper Terminal). (For
start setting, refer to Section 2-5.)
2. Click Setting of the Main Viewer page to display the
administrator setting menu page.
3. Click "Serial" in the Application menu to display the
Serial setting page.
4. Check the radio button of the Standard to "RS232C".
Then click OK button.
5. Type the following CGI command in the address box
of the Web browser of PC. Then, press Enter key.

6. Check the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: "SNC-Z20" should be indicated on the
Hyper Terminal.
(Conformation for Ethernet → RS-
232C)
The images at 320 x 240 should be
indicated normally on the Main View
page.
7. After performing Step 5 and within 10 seconds, type
the optional character line (example; "SNC-Z20") on
the Hyper Terminal.

8. Check the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: After 10 seconds, typed character line
(example; "SNC-Z20") should be
indicated on the Web browser.
(Confirmation for RS-232C →
Ethernet)
9. Exit the terminal software (Hyper Terminal).

2-4-7. Reset Switch Check

Performs the confirmation whether reset switch is operated
normally or not.

All the settings are returned to the factory settings by
performing this confirmation.
1. Turn off the power of SNC-Z20N/Z20P once.
2. Turn on the power of SNC-Z20N/Z20P while pressing
the reset switch.
3. Wait until the front POWER indicator (green) is lit.
4. Display the following URL address page on the Web
browser.
http://192.168.0.100
The Welcome page is displayed.
5. Click "ActiveX viewer" on the Welcome page to
display the Main viewer page.
6. Specification: The image of 640 x 480 is displayed on
the Main viewer page.
