PROGRAMMED/RANDOM PLAYBACK (CONTINUED)
To clear the program
Press s twice after stopping programmed playback.
All the programmed contents are cleared.
Note
The program is also cleared when the disc tray is
opened, the function is changed or the power is turned
off.
To check the program
Press r/f or g/t during stop.
With each press, the program number and the track
number are shown progressively in the display window.
To add a track to the program
Repeat step 2 and 3 in stop mode. The track will be
programmed after the last track.
To play the programmed tracks repeatedly
1 Follow all the steps of "Programmed Playback" above
to program tracks.
2 Press REPEAT .
The programmed tracks are played repeatedly.
To skip tracks
Press r/f or g/t repeatedly.
Playback skips to the previous or the succeeding
track(s) within the program.
Note
You cannot program more than 30 tracks.

Random playback (VCD/CD only)
All the tracks on the selected disc or all the discs can
be played randomly.
To use this feature with VCDs that support PBC, set to
"PBC OFF" on the setup menu (see page 61).

Press PROGRAM/RANDOM repeatedly
on the remote control to show the
random playback indicator in the
display window.
Press once if during playback, twice if during stop.
"RANDOM" appears on the TV screen and the
random playback indicator appears in the display
window.
Note
Pressing PROGRAM/RANDOM once during stop
will bring up the programmed playback setting.

To play all discs,
To play a single disc, press DISC and within 3
seconds press 1, 2 or 3 to start play.
To cancel random playback
Press PROGRAM/RANDOM once on the remote
control.
"OFF" appears on the TV screen and the random
playback indicator disappears in the display window.
The unit goes back to normal playback.
Notes
• During random playback you cannot skip back to the
previously played track with r/f.
• Random playback does not work with repeat playback
while the unit is in all disc playback mode.
