    ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT Method of Using the Jig Remote Controller Most of the video circuit and the deflection circuit of this set can be adjusted by using the jig remote controller. Jig remote controller: RC-AVC01 The jig remote controller RC-AVC01 has the two operating modes. One is the NORMAL mode and the other is the TEST mode. Either the NORMAL mode or the TEST mode can be selected by short-circuiting or opening the shorting land of the printed foil pattern.
  • Page 36 Aging Mode How to enter the aging mode and the contents that are displayed in the aging mode To enter the aging mode, press the TEST key. When this set enters the aging mode, the Auto Power Off function that turns off the main power when the input signal is disconnected, is disabled.
  • Page 37 How to check and set the distinction switch When the EEP ROM is going to be replaced, be sure to check and change the distinction switch before starting the EEP ROM replacement as follows. Press the TEST key to enter the aging mode. Press the DISPLAY key to let the DISTINCTION switch appear on screen.

The adjustment menu display appears on the screen showing the machine is in the adjustment mode. The adjustment pages can be selected by pressing the CHANNEL UP/DOWN key. Press the numeric ten key to select the desired adjustment item.
